This Week’s Completed Items

So this is only the 3rd week of our sewing TheraBee sessions and the finished items are coming out thick and fast.
Linda’s completed laundry bag.
Linda was one of the first people to join the TheraBee sessions. and in the two sessions, she has completed her laundry bag. I think I’m right in saying it’s the second thing she has sewn to completion.
She used the pale blue polka dot fabric. It is 100% cotton. She sourced her own string. Great job Linda.
Geraldine wearing her new top.
Geraldine was supporting the top she finished in the second week. She seems pleased with it. She made another top at home and is currently halfway through making her third top from a much more complicated pattern with gathers and all sorts. I’m sure it will be featured in a later episode of the Bee Hive.
A new dress for a wedding (not a wedding dress)
I made a new dress for my 7-year-old. We are going to a wedding reception in July so she needed something for the evening made using the Sete Orange Melange Summer Rib Knit. But as the wedding isn’t until July I thought I’d finish the sleeves and hem just before so I can adjust it depending on how much more she has grown lol.
A top as well
I also made a top for my wife by adapting a pattern at the TheraBee for a Bretton dress in the Sete Light Grey Melange Summer Rib Knit.
With our next session on the 7th of April being full, I’m sure there will be lots more to report on next week.
